We are the pioneers of a small, family-run business where our entire team is deeply immersed in the market. Our mission to help everyone feel comfortable in their own skin began when we relocated from Medellín, Colombia to London in 1998 and settled in the Latin Quarter at the Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre. Our community was close-knit, and in 2003, we proudly opened our first store offering Colombian products imported directly from Colombia. We were the first to sell Colombian clothing, including bodysuits, Colombian push-up jeans, and custom shapewear, and we named our store 'Medellín y su Moda' to pay homage to our roots and celebrate fashion.

This marked the beginning of our journey. Delving deep into the shapewear market, we observed the nuanced differences in body types across different nationalities and the evolving societal body image standards influenced by celebrities. It was here that the seed of designing our own garments took root. With the assistance of top-notch shapewear designers in Colombia and specialised surgeons covering various surgical disciplines, we embarked on our project to cater to all our clients' needs by innovating with our own designs. We are committed to continuous innovation, ensuring that our garments evolve alongside the shifting body image standards for individuals.

In 2008, we made the strategic decision to expand our business further, unveiling our flagship store in Brixton Market, extending the reach of our premium-quality shapewear to people from all walks of life.

Fast forward to late August 2020, and our store at Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre faced closure due to the centre's demolition. This prompted our move to a new store with a new identity and a fresh presentation:

We are committed to designing our own garments for several compelling reasons. Our first design, the waist trainer, became our best-seller. It is specifically crafted for individuals with a shorter torso, providing essential back support while ensuring that the wires at the back are not painful or uncomfortable. This design reflects our dedication to tailoring our garments to meet the unique and varying needs of our customers.

As the popularity of surgical procedures, particularly the Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), surged, we responded by creating a unique faja tailored to meet the requirements of BBL procedures. Our faja offers zero compression on the hips and buttocks, made with the best quality and hypoallergenic materials. This design was born out of our commitment to providing garments that cater to the changing needs of our customers and the evolving trends in body enhancement procedures.

Furthermore, we recognised the demand for garments that offer long-lasting compression. Many of our customers expressed their frustration with other companies' garments, as the materials tended to stretch quickly, resulting in diminished compression, particularly in the case of fajas from China. In response, we ensured that our fajas are constructed with materials that maintain their compression for a longer duration, providing our customers with unmatched comfort and support throughout their use.
